I can’t believe it has been so long since I put up a new post up on my blog. With a busy schedule and spending a lot of time with the family, the days just kind of slipped away. Hope you had a happy and safe 4th of July weekend and are enjoying Summer in your neck of the woods.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about a couple new stores that I have added this week. I am very excited about both of them. Especially Hanna Andersson!

  • Hanna Andersson.com – If you are not familiar with Hanna Andersson, they sell some of the highest quality clothing for babies, kids, and even adults. My wife LOVES their clothing. They are more expensive, no doubt about that. But they really hold up well! We have had some of their clothes and pajamas that all 3 of ours kids have worn and they still look practically brand new. For us, their clothing is one of those things that may be more expensive up front but will save you money in the long run. Unfortunately, they don’t have coupons right now, but they are having a Back-To-School Sale going on right now where you can save up to 50% off your online order.

  • The Limited.com – Founded in 1963 by Les Wexner and based in Columbus, Ohio. The Limited has served generations of women with fashionable apparel all with trendy American styles. I have a coupon for them as well: Save $20 OFF your $60+ order, or $30 OFF your $100+ order, Coupon Code: 322, Expires 7/19/09.

Vogue UK reports that British fashion brand Aquascutum has pulled out of London Fashion Week this September. Aquascutum has been put up for sale by its parent company, Renown.

“While Renown awaits a sale of Aquascutum, they are consolidating their investment in the business during this period and will therefore not show at London Fashion Week in September,” the company announced this afternoon.
Founded in 1851, Aquascutum has been in the business headlines recently after ceo Kim Winser’s sudden departure following a failed buyout attempt late last year. Its parent company since 1990, Renown, has reportedly since been in talks with Chinese company YGM Trading and British label Crombie about a possible acquisition.

Hopefully, it will just be a rare and temporary absence from London Fashion Week for Aquascutum.
