    Lot of typos, errors….
The contents of the book is OK. However, I am finding lots of typos, errors, missing units in the book. It is annoying.

    Definitely buy this book!
As the book states in its introduction, you need to have a basic understanding of electronics (which the reviewer who says it’s not for novices should have noted!).

    Not for Beginners
I’m an instructional designer by profession and, as an instructional text, it’s first rate. Succinct, practical examples, frequent checks for understanding, summaries at the ends…

Not that great for a novice
It assumes you have a basic understanding of electronics.
Its basically one long test, falls short explaining
    things.
